Los Angeles authorities have identified the body found in D4vd’s car.

Sources from the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner told Complex that the deceased has been identified but are unable to release the name until the legal next of kin is notified. TMZ was the first to report the story.

Law enforcement initially reported that the victim was a 5'1", 71-pound female with wavy black hair and a tattoo on her right index finger reading "Shhh....," and she was found wearing a tube top, black leggings, a stud earring, and a chain bracelet shaped like a "W."

“She appears to have been deceased inside the vehicle for an extended period of time before being found. We are unable to determine her age or race/ethnicity," read a statement from the medical examiner.

The dismembered remains were discovered earlier this month after the vehicle, which had been abandoned in the Hollywood Hills, was towed to an impound lot. At the time, police were notified about a foul odor coming from the car and discovered the body wrapped in a bag, according to a report from KABC.

Police had been working to identify her identity since the discovery.

The 20-year-old singer, born David Anthony Burke, owns the Tesla and never reported it stolen. He is said to be fully cooperating with the investigation.

The singer, who had been on the road since August with his Withered World Tour, has not addressed the incident.

The North American leg of the tour is scheduled to end on Sept. 20 in Los Angeles before beginning performance in Europe on Oct. 1.
