For weeks, fans wondered when—or if—Roman Reigns would reemerge in WWE. Monday night’s episode of Raw dramatically delivered that answer, hinting at a possible reunion of the original Bloodline.
Reigns has not been seen in a WWE ring since August 31 at Clash in Paris. That night, he battled Bronson Reed in a bruising match. After the contest, Bron Breakker speared him through the announce table and Reed followed with repeated Tsunami Splashes — even striking as he was being stretchered out — before Reigns was carried off.
WWE issued storyline injury updates, sending Reigns to a Paris hospital for “scans and evaluation.” In reality, the hiatus was a cover for another role: stepping into Hollywood as Akuma in the upcoming Street Fighter live-action film.
Despite his time away, the Tribal Chief made sure his first night back would shake the foundation of Raw, and according to ESPN, he delivered on that promise.
Weeks later on Raw, The Usos faced The Vision — the powerhouse duo of Reed and Breakker. Midway through the match, Reigns stormed in with a steel chair. A flurry of chair shots turned the tide, and The Usos finished the job.
The moment didn’t end with destruction, though. Instead, Reigns and Jey Uso closed the show with an emotional embrace, signaling the potential return of the family alliance that once ruled WWE.
The reunion comes at a pivotal time for the company. Crown Jewel, set for October 11 in Perth, Australia, already features Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes facing World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins. While Rollins insists his legacy depends on beating Rhodes — whom he has never defeated — the looming shadow of Roman Reigns raises bigger questions.
A showdown between Reigns and Rollins, especially after Crown Jewel, feels inevitable. Survivor Series in November could even stage The Vision versus the reformed Bloodline.
Reigns’ presence also reframes the rest of the Raw card. Dominik Mysterio continues his run as Intercontinental Champion, while Iyo Sky and Rhea Ripley prepare to take on the Kabuki Warriors.
AJ Styles and Dragon Lee are building momentum, and LA Knight picked up a win over Kofi Kingston. Yet, none of those stories carried the same weight as seeing Roman Reigns back in the ring.
