A video showing Natalie Reynolds standing alone at a prank meet-and-greet has drawn millions of views.
The footage was first posted by the TikTok account @nick.marchand5.
It shows Reynolds in various public settings, often along side a security guard and apparently distressed as no fans arrive.
In one clip, she’s seen speaking on the phone while standing by herself.
The account has posted at least 10 videos of these meet-and-greet moments, all centered on Reynolds.
Together, the clips have pulled in more than 51 million views.
Commenters have been quick to call it a calculated move.
"Y’all plsss this is literally all just marketing, it’s all set up to give her more attention, a publicity stunt if you will," one user wrote. "Of course, she knows she’s hated, and she’s using it for her gain."
Another added, "Upon closer inspection, I think this might be a marketing stunt. The entire thing. Just look at this account for instance, the only videos are of them hiding behind a beam ‘secretly’ filming her. This account is prob operated by her as a hook to get people to go see her account. Pretty smart."
A third commenter said, "Okay, so we all understand she or a friend obviously runs this account, right?"
Reynolds responded directly in a TikTok video.
“Were you embarrassed that nobody showed up to your meet and greet? I'm not gonna lie, at first I was really embarrassed when nobody showed up to my meet and greet because I was standing there and I was literally sobbing because I put in so much time and money into setting it up,” she said.
"I told everyone where I was gonna be. Nobody came. I had security cause I thought like thousands of people were gonna show up. And I was standing there waiting for two hours. Not one person showed up. And it was the most humiliating experience of my life."
Reynolds added, "And I thought it was so messed up. People were making fun of me in the comments, saying, nobody showed up to my meet and greet. Girl, I was so embarrassed, literally humiliated. And I didn't do anything wrong. I just don't understand how nobody showed up to my meet and greet. Like, I don't get it."
The influencer has a long history of creating controversy.
In May 2024, she was widely criticized after offering $20 to a homeless woman to jump into a lake. The woman said she could not swim.
