A former real estate agent has transformed workplace harassment into entrepreneurial opportunity, building a lucrative online content creation business after discovering her sister's success on subscription platforms.

Avery Skye left her Vancouver real estate career following persistent client misconduct and now operates under the handle AveryXSkye, becoming one of the platform's rapidly growing creators alongside her sister Abby Bunni.

The career transition began when inappropriate client behavior made her previous profession unsustainable.

"Before I started this industry, I was a successful realtor in Vancouver," Skye said.

"I started to have clients harass me to try and fulfill realtor fantasies. I had to endure the treatment in order to successfully be the realtor I was. It drove me to quit."

The turning point came when a friend shared an Instagram profile that belonged to her younger sister, whom she had not known was involved in content creation.

"My sister, Abby, was a little Christian girl waiting for marriage to one man. I was completely shellshocked. She was a great OF creator," Skye recalled.

"She had full control of how the men could treat her, put the power back in her hands."

Observing her sister's financial independence and professional autonomy influenced Skye's decision to enter the industry herself.

"Abby encouraged it because of the amount of money she was making. She's free and safe," Skye said.

"She showed me the initial startup, and then I hustled to figure out how to."

Both sisters have achieved significant financial success, with Skye appearing on "OnlyFans TV's Next Top Pornstar."

She has expanded her business model to include consulting services for aspiring creators, generating additional revenue streams.

The career change has drawn attention within Vancouver's real estate community, though direct contact has been minimal.

"It's been buzzing in the realtor world in Vancouver, but nobody has contacted me directly. I was on a male-dominated team," she said.

For Skye, the transformation represents more than professional advancement.

"We've both beaten multiple generations of poverty," she said, describing the financial impact of their combined success.

Family dynamics around their careers remain complex.

While Skye has been transparent with their mother about her work, her sister's involvement remains undisclosed.

"My mom knows what I do, but not what my sister does," Skye said. "She's supportive, but only knows what I tell her."

The siblings maintain what Skye describes as a "friendly competition" that continues driving their professional growth.

Content creation on subscription platforms has become increasingly mainstream, with creators earning substantial income through direct fan support.
