Latto appeared to clear the air after a wave of pregnancy speculation manifested over the weekend.
After the Atlanta rapper performed at Force Fest in Japan, people speculated her outfit revealed what looked like a baby bump.
Rocking a ruffled striped top and lace leggings that gave a peek at her midsection, Latto’s look quickly ignited theories that she might be expecting. Photos and clips from the festival began circulating across X (formerly Twitter), with one viral post from @ShesFishy zooming in on her belly, fueling even more chatter.
Hours later, Latto seemed to address the speculation with a playful Instagram post. Sharing a carousel of new photos, Latto captioned the post, “I ate tew much wagyu & ramen.”
The playful response comes amid ongoing curiosity about her personal life, particularly her relationship with 21 Savage. The couple has kept their romance mostly private, though their connection has been a topic of fan speculation for years.
In March 2022, Latto released her single “Wheelie” featuring 21 Savage, just days after her breakout hit “Big Energy” cracked the top 20 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Later that year, 21 Savage downplayed rumors of a relationship during a Clubhouse session, saying, “I don’t got a celebrity girlfriend.”
Whispers continued after fans spotted a tattoo behind Latto’s ear that appeared to read “Shéyaa,” which many believed referenced Savage’s birth name, Shéyaa Bin Abraham-Joseph. In May 2023, Hollywood Unlocked’s Jason Lee claimed that after posting a photo of the tattoo, he was contacted by Latto’s team asking him to remove it.
“I thought it was a fake fan playing around on my phone,” Lee told Complex at the time, adding that his team later confirmed the number belonged to Latto’s publicist and declined to delete the post, even after allegedly being offered money.
Despite the ongoing speculation, Latto has made it clear she’s unbothered. When TMZ asked if she was tired of people bringing up 21 Savage, she simply replied, “Nope! My man, my man, my man!”
