Dame Dash is threatening legal action against Charlamagne tha God following his fiery appearance on The Breakfast Club.

During his The Breakfast Club interview, Dash declared he was now Revolt's chairman, explaining that his platform AmericaNu had entered into a partnership with the network and was "on the pathway to acquisition.”

“How do we know that’s not cap?” Charlamagne asked, saying that if it was official, it would be announced on an industry-focused outlet like Deadline. Dash fired back, claiming no one wanted to make the announcement. After the sit-down, the mogul took to Instagram to issue a warning to Charlamagne.

"Charlamagne, I would advise you not to make up phony sources without real names saying that anything I said was not true, or we will have a legal problem. Don't try to compromise my reputation. I have proof to support everything I say that will stand up in any court," Dame shared on Instagram.

The conflict deepened when Revolt host Loren LaRosa tweeted that a lead publicist at the company denied Dash's claim, writing, "Dame Dash is not the chairman of the network." Dash quickly clapped back, reposting LaRosa's tweet with a lengthy caption.

"Here goes the bullshit, I'm the chairman for the month. If I acquire I will be official chairman. Please stop playing with words. Just take that L," said Dame before doubling down when VIBE officially reported on his new role.

The outlet confirmed that Dash had been named Revolt TV's chairman for one month, during which he will simulcast 25 episodes of his Bosses Take Losses podcast, stream a wide portion of his content catalog, and launch his My Paid in Full docuseries. Revolt CEO Detavio Samuels praised the partnership, noting, "After 30 years, [Dash] continues to be a driving force in hip hop and pop culture, and people want to hear what he has to say no matter how they feel about it."

Dash celebrated the news by posting the VIBE article on Instagram with the caption: "#Checkmate. Don't worry I'm not going to fire you @mr_camron you can hustle on my block this month 😂."

The announcement prompted Dash's latest rival, Cam'ron, to enter the chat, commenting: "Give me about hour. Ima tell yall the truth. Didn't know u was such a liar🤦🏾‍♂️ I got u tho lol."

Dame's visit to The Breakfast Club was filled with viral moments, including the mogul revealing his new artist is releasing a diss track titled "Checkmate" aimed at 50 Cent and Cam'ron. Dame also cleared the air of 50 acquiring the rights to Paid in Full and got into a back-and-forth with Charlamagne Tha God, claiming that the radio host is "gay" for his support of Jay-Z.
