Dame Dash's appearance on The Breakfast Club turned volatile when he squared off with Charlamagne Tha God in an exchange that quickly escalated from sharp criticism to outright threats.
During the interview, Dash repeatedly leveled personal accusations at Charlamagne, asserting his belief about his sexuality and questioning his masculinity. In one instance, Dame claimed Charlamagne has never said one bad thing about Jay-Z, and pointed out that he was wearing a Paper Planes shirt. Paper Planes is a clothing brand in partnership with Jay and designed by his close friend, Emory Jones.
"I'm thinking to myself, either you got a crush on this man or he's paying you. One or the other. Did you buy that shirt? [...] You went and bought that? They didn't give it to you as much as you say nice things [...] So, I think I think you're gay," Dash said. "I'm sorry."
Charlamagne fired back, claiming that he believes Dame is "broke." Tensions escalated further, and after a series of interruptions, Dash issued a direct physical threat aimed at Charlamagne after the radio host said he "moves like an old Harlem auntie."
“I can punch you right in your face like a grown man and you won't do shit,” said Dame before elaborating on that threat. “If we was on the street right now and you were talking like that, I would have fucked you up.”
He added, "What I'm saying is when you interrupt me and you say certain things, where I'm from, the masculine man will fuck you up."
The rest of the interview was also juicy, with Dame declaring he is the new chairman of Revolt, the media company previously owned by Diddy. Dame said this role comes with a "pathway to acquisition," positioning him to potentially buy the network outright.
Dame also claimed 50 Cent was trolling when he announced he purchased the rights to Paid in Full. According to Dame, no rights were available to be purchased, and he has already made his own version, trademarked as My Paid in Full, which he said will be a docuseries on Revolt.
