Cam'ron is sounding the alarm on the challenges star athletes like CJ Stroud face in Houston, citing the city's nightlife and high-profile women as a major distraction.
During a recent episode of It Is What It Is, Killa reflected on the city's temptations and distractions that could lure an athlete like Stroud into its clutches.
Cam brought up how James Harden was all in on Houston nightlife when he played for the NBA's Rockets a few years ago, and that's common for any star that comes through H-Town.
"It's crazy out there," Cam said. "Them bitches in Houston got the fatty man. James Harden can't help himself in Houston man. Listen when I seen that n***a hitchhike with Amber Rose or whatever the fuck he did that time with Amber Rose, I knew it was bad for the n***a, man."
He added, "He live in Houston and he the starting quarterback in Houston, they draining him. They got the n***a thinking he 36. That's a hard place to live in especially if you're the star athlete. Ask James Harden."
Cam'ron went on to describe the city's "strip clubs, the chicken wings at 6 in the morning, the 24 hour strip clubs" that make Houston both wonderful and scandalous.
He also mentioned how Jayden Daniels' mother, Regina Jackson, would have a hard time keeping him focused. Jackson has been by her son's side throughout his football career and made it clear she's not letting any woman get to her son.
"I'm telling you, for a 23-year-old QB1, it's dangerous out there, man," Cam added. "And listen, I'm not saying every mother should be this intense as Jayden Daniels' mother, but this is the type of stuff that goes on. They got 'momagers.' I don't know if Jayden Daniels' mom could save him in Houston. They piranha, those girls out there."
Despite these warnings, Stroud appears unfazed by the city's distractions. Stroud was named AFC Offensive Player of the Week after leading the Texans to a 44-10 victory at Baltimore, completing 23-of-27 passes for 244 yards and four touchdowns, earning a 143.9 passer rating. Stroud's performance tied him for the most passing touchdowns in Week 5.
Through five games this season, Stroud has completed 102-of-144 passes (70.8 percent) for 1,076 yards and eight touchdowns. Over the last two weeks alone, he's completed 45-of-55 passes for 477 yards and six touchdowns, leading the NFL in both completion percentage and passer rating during that span.
