Ryan Garcia is once again making headlines online, this time through a training video that highlights his record speed.
The 27-year-old lightweight posted the footage to Instagram earlier this week, where it quickly racked up more than two million likes and 35 million views.
The clip shows Garcia in blue gloves, moving fast as he fires combinations at his trainer inside a sleek living room setting.
He captioned the video, “FAST AND HEALTHY,” tagging both YoungLA and his trainer.
In an interview with Complex, Garcia explained why staying with the brand felt natural. "YoungLA has been part of my journey for years now," he said.
"They represent confidence, and pushing yourself to the limit, which is what boxing is all about. I don’t wear things that don’t match my mindset, and YoungLA fits perfectly."
Garcia also stressed that the deal is more than a collab.
"This isn’t just about clothes," he told Complex in a statement.
"It’s about being aligned with a community that wants to be the best version of themselves. Whether you’re in the gym or in everyday life, it’s about carrying yourself with purpose."
The post comes on the heels of Garcia renewing his deal with YoungLA in September, a partnership organized by Hollywood talent manager, PJ Schulte, who also owns Paragon West. He said the fit between fighter and brand was seamless.
“Ryan is one of the most famous athletes in the world and one of the biggest names in boxing, so it only makes sense that he partners with a brand like YoungLA who uphold a strong culture and are taking over fitness and lifestyle apparel,” Schulte said. “YoungLA is everywhere.”
Fans flooded his latest post with praise.
One comment read, “I am in awe when I see you box. That speed is so impressive. Those hits are hard.”
Another user added, “Your discipline shows every time you train. Inspirational to anyone chasing greatness.”
Even fellow athletes chimed in. “Looking sharper than ever,” wrote one commenter.
Another said, “This is why you’re at the top. Speed kills.”
YoungLA has carved out a reputation as a crossover fitness and lifestyle brand, working with figures who connect online as much as they do in competition.
“This is only the beginning,” Garcia noted. “I’ve got so much more to prove inside the ring, and I want my fans to feel like they’re part of that mission. YoungLA is with me every step of the way.”
