Mike Tyson and Jake Paul reunited at Donald Trump’s inauguration on Monday.
A clip of them shows Paul hoisting Tyson onto his shoulders. Tyson initially looked nervous while covering his hand with his face, as the person shooting the video said, “There you go, you got it!”
Everyone cheered as Tyson raised his fist in celebration and Paul eventually did the same. The person recording the moment then panned to the crowd, which showed hundreds of people.
The pair haven’t seen each other since their Nov. 15 fight in Arlington, Texas, where Paul won. Many thought the fight was rigged, a claim that Paul called “incorrect and baseless.” He did admit, however, that he held back in the ring.
"I wanted to give the fans a show, but I didn't want hurt someone who didn't need to be hurt,” Paul said at a post-fight conference.
And even though Tyson lost, he was okay with the outcome. The boxing legend later explained on X that he had “no regrets” about fighting Paul. “This is one of those situations when you lost but still won,” he wrote. “I’m grateful.”
Paul attended Trump’s inauguration with his brother Logan and Conor McGregor. Barack Obama, Bill and Hilary Clinton, George W. Bush, Elon Musk, Bernie Sanders, Mark Zuckerberg, and Jeff Bezos were also in attendance at the ceremony.
