Big Meech will celebrate his return home with a “Welcome Back” concert.
The celebration is set to be held on Feb. 13 at the Amerant Bank Arena in Miami. The one-night, star-studded event will feature performances from Lil Baby, Sexyy Red, Rick Ross, 21 Savage, Kodak Black, and more, with additional artists to be announced.
Produced by XO Touring and AG Touring, the show aims to unite the music industry in honoring Big Meech.
Born Demetrius Flenory, the 56-year-old rapper and co-founder of the infamous Black Mafia Family (BMF) was sentenced to 30 years in prison in 2008 for drug trafficking and money laundering charges.
He was moved from prison to community confinement in October, and one of his first moves was to get a set of veneers. He will be released on Jan. 27, 2026.
In a statement to Vibe, a rep for Meech emphasized "continued efforts toward criminal justice reform."
"[Meech is] out, but millions more remain trapped inside—there’s still so much work to be done," the statement said. "We need to push for real change, for a justice system that recognizes the dignity and potential for redemption in every individual.”
BMF’s rise and fall were dramatized in the Starz series Black Mafia Family, with Meech’s son Demetrius “Lil Meech” Flenory playing his father.
