After retroing the ultra-rare "Grand Piano" Air Max 1 last year, Nike has partnered with Taiwanese singer Jay Chou and his PHANTACi brand for a new Air Max 95 collab.
The unreleased PHANTACi x Nike Air Max 95 shown here was initially teased by Chou on Instagram back in August, and now official images of the project have emerged. The sneaker appears to be inspired by a guitar, featuring a brown-colored upper referencing the surface of the instrument. This version also features a special lacing system that features additional strings reaching down to the Big Bubble Air Max 95 midsole. The sneaker also comes with a hang tag with a Nike Air-branded guitar pick.
Despite images of the PHANTACi x Nike Air Max 95 surfacing, firm release details for the project have yet to be confirmed by either of the parties involved. Check back soon for official updates in the coming weeks.
