Pete Davidson and Elsie Hewitt are expecting their first child together.

Wednesday, Hewitt shared a batch of photos to Instagram, playfully captioned with the baby-confirming statement “welp now everyone knows we had sex.” Inspiringly, none other than pop culture icon SpongeBob SquarePants also made an appearance in Hewitt's announcement post.

An actress and model, Hewitt, whose IG boasted a relationship-confirming Pete cameo back in March, has appeared in series including Industry and Dave, among others. Davidson, meanwhile, has two films on the slate for deeper into 2025: The Home, in theaters later this month, and The Pickup with Eddie Murphy, out in August.

According to TMZ, which cited “sources close to the couple” in its reporting on Wednesday, the baby is expected to arrive in the winter. Congrats to the couple.

Last March, Davidson, surprising fans, announced that he had decided to bring the semi-autobiographical Bupkis series to a close despite having already been renewed for a second season on Peacock.

“I’ve always seen Bupkis as a window into my life, since it is so personal and about my struggles and family,” Davidson said in a statement shared with Complex at the time. “After nearly a decade of my personal life being in the media I wanted a chance to tell my story my way. Of all the work I’ve ever done, Bupkis is by far what I’m most proud of.”

Among the projects on the Saturday Night Live alum’s upcoming slate is How to Rob a Bank, directed by The Fall Guy filmmaker David Leitch.

ComplexCon returns to Las Vegas on October 25–26, 2025, with over 300 brands and live performances by Young Thug, YEAT & Friends, Peso Pluma, Central Cee, Ken Carson, and more. Get your tickets now.
