"It’s not an easy thing, and I get that," Kim said on 'Call Her Daddy.'

Kim Kardashian has revealed to Alex Cooper that there have been instances in the past in which someone the SKIMS co-founder was dating opted to back off due to concerns about how the artist formerly known as Kanye West might react.

The Call Her Daddy episode in question launched on Wednesday, with Kim’s remarks on her divorce from Ye, plus the current status of the former couple’s co-parenting relationship, receiving extensive headlines attention. Now, for what remarkably stands as this particular writer’s fourth Call Her Daddy breakout in less than 24 hours, that same attention is being turned to a different portion of Kim and Alex’s nearly two-hour conversation.

“I walked away thinking that I have to live a different life, that I would not have a connection to anyone in fashion or art,” Kim said of what she initially expected her life would be like after her and Ye’s divorce, finalized in 2022. “That was a big part of his life. So I thought, okay, I’m gonna go back to a totally different world and my happiness is worth that and it’s totally okay.”

However, per Kim, some of her “biggest projects” and “best relationships” ended up coming about after the split. Kim said she sees this as a sign, and urged those listening and/or watching to the interview to pay attention to signs in their own lives.

Asked specifically about whether there was an impact on her dating life due to having a “vocal" ex, Kim confirmed there was, though she now considers this to be a “non-issue.”

As fans will recall, Pete Davidson, for example, was frequently made the subject of public mockery from Ye during the Saturday Night Live alum’s relationship with Kim. In the video for Ye and The Game’s 2022 track “Eazy,” featuring Ye rapping “God saved me from that crash/Just so I can beat Pete Davidson’s ass,” the Bupkis star is depicted being abducted and buried in claymation form.

“It has definitely affected that,” Kim told Alex in Wednesday’s CHD episode. “There has been situations where, like, I’ll get maybe close to someone, then it’s like ‘Wait, wait, wait. I don’t really wanna deal with your ex and I don’t wanna deal that, like if he’s gonna say something.’ … It has been a little frustrating but then I get really, like, my person wouldn’t care about that, you know? But it is a big thing and I get it. It’s not an easy thing, and I get that.”

When Ye’s “Eazy” video was brought up by Alex, Kim said that particular situation made her feel “sad and sorry” for Pete.

“That made me feel really sad,” Kim, who also pointed out during the interview that she is currently single, said. “That really wasn’t fair for him.”

These days, Ye’s romantic partner is Bianca Censori. In December, she’s set to launch a project of unknown origin, though speculation is that it may be fashion-related. Initially, the launch was slated for this month, though a landing page for BIANCA now says it’s “coming Dec. 11.”
