The Studio, Severance, and more of TV’s finest are expected to do very well at Sunday’s Primetime Emmy Awards ceremony.
This year’s ceremony, hosted by Nate Bargatze, comes after the Dan Erickson-created Severance led all nominees across both the Primetime Creative Arts Emmys and the Primetime Emmys, scoring 27 nods in all. Like The Studio and The Penguin, the Apple hit enters the evening having already found victory at the Creative Arts Emmys ceremony earlier this month, with all three series bagging multiple wins.
But could Severance’s shot at an Outstanding Drama Series win instead be taken by The Last of Us, or maybe even another HBO blockbuster, The White Lotus?
On the comedy side, all signs do indeed point to The Studio taking home Outstanding Comedy Series, though I wouldn’t completely rule out Hacks, which won in this category last year.
Below, see the full list of 2025 Primetime Emmy Awards winners, updated live. Preposterously, The Righteous Gemstones is not up for Outstanding Comedy Series this year, marking a travesty of the highest order.
