Adin Ross is publicly rethinking his foray into politics, and he’s not mincing words about his regrets.
During a recent livestream, Ross opened up about his involvement with President Donald Trump during the last campaign cycle, admitting he now wishes he had stayed far away from politics altogether.
“Now that I look back on it, I really, really wish I never got into politics,” Ross told his audience. “So many people just tie me to it, and no matter what, they don’t even get to know who I am. I don’t think I’ll ever care enough again for any other politician. At the end of the day, we’re all humans. That stuff is just way out of pocket.”
Ross said his association with Trump, which included gifting the politician a Tesla and featuring Trump on his platform, has followed him since. And Ross isn’t the only major content creator expressing second thoughts about politically aligning with Trump.
Andrew Schulz, who once proudly hosted Trump on his Flagrant podcast, recently criticized the president, accusing him of “doing the exact opposite” of what he ran on.
Joe Rogan, whose podcast gave Trump one of his largest digital stages, has also voiced frustration with his administration, especially over foreign policy and spending. Meanwhile, Theo Von, who also interviewed Trump, has tried to distance himself entirely from the political fallout, even demanding that the government remove promotional material that used his likeness without permission.
