OnlyFans star Sophie Rain thinks Lil Tay is exaggerating about making $15 million in two weeks on thr platform.
Tay, legal name is Claire Eileen Qi Hope, turned 18 over the summer and immediately launched her OnlyFans account, claiming that she made $1 million in the first three hours.
Last week, Tay posted on Instagram that her recent earnings totaled $15 million and claimed that she had raked in the sum in only two weeks, making her the “No. 1 in the [world] for a reason.”
Rain, 20, immediately doubted the $15 million claim, telling TMZ she found it hard to believe the former rapper could have made that much in two weeks. That kind of money would take months to make, Rain said, and would require a great team.
Sophie, who initially said she was “proud” of the content creator two years her junior, has since shut down Tay on what she sees as exaggerated claims of success.
“Me coming out of retirement after hearing someone is claiming to make more than me,” Sophie said on TikTok after Tay challenged her to a boxing match with $60 million on the line.
“Why is some child I was a fan of trying to beef w me for clout…” Sophie added.
On Wednesday (Sept. 3), Page Six published an interview with Tay, the former “youngest flexer of the century,” who doubled down on the claim that she had pulled the $15 million in the span of two weeks.
“I get to make more money than most people ever fucking touch in their life,” Tay told the tabloid, adding it would be the last time she shared how much money she’s making due to safety concerns.
“A couple of days ago, there was somebody in my bushes trying to take photos of me, and I was like, ‘Is that TMZ?” she reportedly said.
