Streamer Fandy made Twitch history this week by being the first person to livestream their birth on the app.

On Tuesday (Oct. 7), the Austin, Texas-based streamer with 370,000 followers, filmed herself during at-home childbirth with the assistance of her husband, Adamax, and a group of midwives.

In front of 610,000 viewers during the nearly nine-hour stream, Fandy had contractions and emerged in an inflatable pool before introducing a baby girl, Luna.

The stream was tame, with Fandy remaining clothed during her daughter's birth. Toward the end, a blanket briefly covered the camera while she got out of the pool.

Back in August, the streamer shared that she wanted to livestream herself giving birth, which she planned to do with "no meds."

As TMZ reported, the streamer got a congratulatory message from Twitch CEO Dan Clancy, who wrote, "Fandy, best of luck and congratulations. Wishing you the best in this journey."

On the stream, Adamax called his daughter's birth an "insane experience."

"I just want to thank all the girls for showing up, too. This was a team effort. They all took part. Cady did the work, but everyone stepped in," he continued per E!

Fandy, who's been a content creator for 10 years, is known for livestreaming her gaming sessions, mainly playing World of Warcraft.
