MrBeast donated a sizable amount to support the recovery of wrestler Syko Stu.

During private wrestling event KnokX Pro Academy earlier this month, Raja Jackson, the son of former UFC fighter Quinton Rampage Jackson, body slammed Stu and viciously punched him twenty times. The attack landed Stu in the hospital for "critical care," although he is "stable," according to his brother, Andrew Smith.

Pitching in to help cover medical expenses for Stu was YouTuber and businessman MrBeast, who donated $10,000 to the wrestler's GoFundMe. According to the site, the content creator’s donation was the largest at the time of writing. TMZ reported that there were 2,533 others who've sent money, including AEW stars Chris Jericho and Swerve Strickland.

"Hello everyone, I’m reaching out to get support for my husband, Stuart Smith, better known as SykoStu," read the fundraiser's description, as organized by Contessa Patterson. "On August 23rd he was involved in an unscripted assault that has left him in the hospital with intense recovery needed to regain good health."

The description continued, "Stuart Smith is a U.S. Army veteran who used wrestling as an outlet to deal with his PTSD, this incident has not only caused major physical harm, but will also disrupt his career inside the ring and outside of it."

With a $110,000 goal, the proceeds will go towards medical expenses, recovery support and loss of income. Stu's reported injuries include restricted movement, tooth loss, speech impairments and multiple facial fractures.

On August 23, Rampage Jackson posted a tweet and claimed that his son was "unexpectedly hit in the side of the head by him moments before Smith’s match."

"Raja was told that he could get his 'payback' in the ring, i thought it was a part of the show," he continued.

Rampage went on to condemn his son's actions, calling it "bad judgment," and wished for Stu to have a "speedy recovery."
