Sophie Rain may have earned more than most professional athletes last year, but the 20-year-old online sensation says her rise to the top wasn’t as effortless as critics might assume.

Known for her reserved but high-earning OnlyFans presence, Rain revealed in a recent interview with David Dobrik that she has amassed $82 million in just 18 months, including $43 million in 2024 alone.

“I almost made more than LeBron last year,” she told Dobrik during the sit-down.

“He made $56 million, I made $43.” The YouTuber verified her account live, visibly stunned. “She has made $82 million in the last year and a half,” he confirmed.

“I’m just so nervous. I’m paranoid,” she said. “’Cause all of this could disappear tomorrow.” Dobrik laughed it off, “Okay. $82 million doesn’t disappear tomorrow.”

Rain first caught headlines in February after announcing she’d passed the $50 million mark.

“Halfway to $100m, thank you all so much,” she posted on X, formerly known as Twitter.

Despite the buzz, she’s been vocal about the uphill grind behind the scenes — especially for creators without a built-in audience.

“Girls see the headlines and think they’re going to wake up rich,” she told The Blast. “But unless you already have a huge audience, or you’re ready to work around the clock building one, this isn’t quick money. Most girls I know are barely pulling in $500 a month.”

Before her digital fame, Rain said she worked standard jobs like waiting tables and even spent time working on a farm, a far cry from the high-gloss luxury of her current life.

“It was nowhere near as intense as what I do now,” she said. “But I’ve done the 9-to-5s. I know what it’s like to clock in.”

Alongside the business hustle, Rain addressed common assumptions about her content.

“I keep my content on OnlyFans very reserved, and you can still make money from doing all of these things,” she told Fox News Digital. “I’ve always had my morals, and that’s what kept me grounded.”

She also credited her faith as a driving force in her life. “I have a very close relationship with my church and I love God,” she said.
