Michael B. Jordan and Tom Cruise shared a moment on the red carpet at Mission: Impossible — The Final Reckoning.
In a video from the event, Jordan seemed to surprise Cruise at the film's London premiere, and the pair proceeded to embrace and have a heartfelt conversation.
“I wasn’t missing this shit,” Jordan can be heard saying in the clip. They then took photos together and started pointing at each other, saying, “This guy,” encouragingly.
Jordan also posted a video of the moment to his Instagram, writing, “I was too young to see the first Mission Impossible in the theater, but now I get a chance to watch the final one… in IMAX!!!! Much love.”
Jordan’s appearance at the Mission: Impossible movie premiere follows Cruise’s praise of Sinners, in which Jordan stars.
“Congratulations Ryan [Coogler], Michael, and to the entire cast and crew. Must see in a cinema and stay through the end credits!” Cruise wrote on Instagram.
“Thanks for the love and support!!!” Jordan responded in the comment section.
Coogler’s film has been a box office hit, earning $220 million domestically and $290 million globally, per People.
Mission: Impossible — The Final Reckoning is the final chapter in the franchise, which has earned over $4 billion across eight installments. Cruise’s movie opens in theaters on May 23.
