Damson Idris might be riding high off the success of his recent movie, F1, but he's still got time to share some advice with his young fans.

Taking to his Instagram Story on Thursday (October 2), the actor had some words of wisdom to share with "the young people who look up to [him] and care to listen."

"The negative things you say online today can burn bridges you haven’t even arrived at yet," he wrote. "Do not be a victim of this. Walk with class and focus on your dream."

Adding that he's "rooting" for those reading his message, it is unclear what exactly prompted his post.

The 34-year-old recently found himself in the headlines for a possible romantic reconciliation with Lori Harvey. Last month, right around his September 2 birthday, photos surfaced of the former couple vacationing together in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.

The pair were first linked in late 2022, before confirming their relationship in January 2023, and later, breaking up in November. That same month, they were seen leaving the Los Angeles premiere of Beyoncé's Renaissance film together.

Since then, each has been focused on their respective careers, with Idris starring in F1 and Children of Blood and Bone, and Harvey making her onscreen debut in Fight Night: The Million Dollar Heist, and appearing in Hulu's legal drama, Reasonable Doubt.

Since parting ways, neither Harvey nor Idris has publicly dated anyone else. Prior to Idris, Harvey was linked to Michael B. Jordan, Future and Diddy.
