Kourtney Kardashian wonders why children go to school at all.

On the latest episode of the Khloé in Wonder Land podcast, around the 36-minute mark of the video below, Kardashian talked to her sister about her instinct to challenge societal norms.

“I love to just go against the grain,” Kardashian admitted. “I think living authentically is not conforming to whatever it is … If someone does the same thing every day, like, I do it with everything. It’s not about our family, like, let’s say the school system.”

She elaborated, “I’ll think, ‘Why do kids fucking go to school?’ Truly. It’s so dated.”

“I’m such a homeschool person, so don’t even get me going,” Khloé Kardashian agreed.

At that point, Kourtney Kardashian shared that her children sometimes send her videos of successful people who have chosen not to send their kids to traditional schools, which prompted her to ask, “OK, what’s the goal here? You want to do homeschool? Let’s do it, you know?”

In another example, she talked about her holistic approach to parenting, adding, “I will nurse the fever of my kids versus giving Tylenol or Ibuprofen. I just, like, want to do that.”

Before she could elaborate on how her choices differ from what’s in the mainstream, the conversation was interrupted by a FaceTime call from Kim Kardashian who, at the time of the recording, was getting ready for the 2025 Met Gala.

Kourtney Kardashian is a mother to four children, including 18-month-old son Rocky Thirteen, whom she shares with Travis Barker. Her other three children, whom she shares with Scott Disick, are 15-year-old Mason, 12-year-old Penelope, and 10-year-old Reign.
