Internet superstar Trisha Paytas will soon grace our television screens in a big role.
On an episode of her Just Trish podcast that dropped on Wednesday, October 9, Paytas confirmed that she is set to star in the upcoming third season of HBO’s Euphoria. The news was revealed in conversation with fellow YouTuber Oscar Gracey.
“Maybe now that you’re on Euphoria, you’ll get on Overcompensating,” Gracey joked.
"They couldn't afford me,” Paytas replied.
She continued, sharing how booking the role gave her newfound confidence. "I really thought I was unstoppable ‘cause I was doing so many calls after [Euphoria]. Maybe one day I can show my Euphoria self tape. I don’t know if I can. I got to find out the logistics maybe once it airs or something like that. But yeah, I think I really nailed it.”
Paytas didn’t share much else about the role, nor did HBO immediately respond to Complex’s request for comment. However, she is one of several new cast members to join the beloved HBO drama. Also set to appear on the show’s third season are singer Rosalía, Anna Van Patten, Marshawn Lynch, Kadeem Hardison, and several others.
Euphoria first premiered in 2019, centered around a then-17-year-old Rue Bennett (Zendaya) — a recovering drug addict — and her peers and classmates Cassie (Sydney Sweeney), Nate (Jacob Elordi), Maddie (Alexa Demie), Lexi (Maude Apatow), and Jules (Hunter Schafer). All of these characters are set to return in Euphoria’s third season.
The show’s second season premiered in January 2022 and ended that March. Several members of Euphoria’s cast and crew have confirmed that there will be a time jump in season 3.
According to the show’s official Instagram page, Euphoria’s third season will premiere in spring of 2026.
