Sharon Osbourne has released a message thanking fans and updating the world about how she’s been feeling since her husband Ozzy Osbourne’s death in July.

Sharon posted a video of her hanging out with an owl on Instagram and accompanied it with a stirring message to her supporters.

“I’m still having trouble finding the words to express how grateful I am for the overwhelming love and support you’ve shown on social media,” she wrote. “Your comments, posts, and tributes have brought me more comfort than you know. None of it has gone unnoticed; in fact, it’s carried me through many nights.”

“Though I’m still finding my footing, I wanted to share some glorious creatures I had the chance to spend an afternoon with,” she continued. “The connection you make with these powerful birds is built entirely on trust and confidence. They’ll choose to perch on you only if they sense you are safe and unafraid of them. It’s a bond I know all too well, and the experience was nothing short of magical.”

Sharon’s post came around the same time that her daughter, Kelly, shared with the world that she’d introduced her mom to falconry. “Today I introduced my mum to falconry and she loved it!” Kelly captioned the video, thanking trainer Gerard Sulter for “putting a smile on [her] mum’s face.”

The legendary rock singer's death was confirmed by an official post to his social media profiles on July 22, just a few weeks after his final performance with Black Sabbath at the beginning of that month.

“It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning,” the statement read. “He was with his family and surrounded by love.”

Earlier this month, his son Jack broke his silence on his father’s passing in a YouTube video.

"I left on the 13th of July, came home, and my dad was great," the 39-year-old said. "He was in a good mood. He was happy. I woke up in Los Angeles to a knock on my house door at around 3:45 in the morning."

"And I was informed that my father had passed," he continued. "Immediately, I don't know, just [felt] pain, just sadness and pain and just so many thoughts you go through, like feeling sad and frustrated and angry. Like this part of you that's like, 'I have to get there right now.'"

Elsewhere in the video, Jack reflected on the great times he spent with his father, calling him a “friend, text buddy and joke cracker.”

"I was so lucky," he said. "I had such a great relationship with him and I'm so grateful and I think that's been the overwhelming feeling has been gratitude."
