The temporary restraining order between Halle Bailey and DDG has been extended until Nov. 5.

Court documents confirm that the order, which was placed on May 13 and was initially supposed to end on Oct. 15, has been extended. The streamer and the singer were supposed to have a court date on Oct. 14 — hence the original ending date of the order — but by mutual agreement they pushed it back to Nov. 5.

The extension of the restraining order comes days after DDG released the song “17 More Years.” In the track, the rapper/streamer gets honest about how he feels about their current parenting situation.

"I don't wanna fight no more, tired of the court dates/Lawyers gettin’ over on us, watching' money go to waste/We should all get together on his birthday, light the cake/If we talk, it'll get better, go ahead and drop the case,” he says on the track.

DDG also addresses the lack of communication that the two have currently. “We ain't got no communication, that's the main thing/Every time we walk into that court they say the same thing/These judges judgin' me and I gotta stay calm/Still got respect for you, you are a good mom,” he sings.

In May, Bailey filed a police report against DDG and sought a court order for protection after he allegedly attacked her on multiple occasions.

"I realize that there is no placating Darryl. I cannot allow this abuse any longer. I cannot keep living like this," said Halle in court documents. "I never know when he is going to demand our son to be in his mother's care and whether I will be subjected to his threats and abuse."

In June, DDG filed a motion to stop Bailey from leaving the country with their son, Halo — but a judge subsequently denied it. In the response to DDG’s motion, Bailey explained why she had to go out of the country with their son.

"I must be on set in Italy to film a movie," Halle said in court documents. "I am contractually bound to be there from June 7, 2025 to August 4, 2025. Darryl has known about this work obligation for months. This is my source of income, on which Halo and I rely to pay all bills."

"Darryl has not contributed any regular support since Halo was born,” she continued. “I will be held liable for damages to this film if I am not there, which I believe would be a breach of my contract. I cannot leave Halo with Darryl, as Darryl will be out of town a majority of those months. Halo is also a protected person by the Court's Temporary Restraining Order."
