Birdman has high hopes for what’s next for YoungBoy Never Broke Again, predicting the MASA artist’s live show will be a billion-dollar enterprise in as little as two years.

In a recent video shared to Instagram Stories by DJ Akademiks, the Cash Money co-founder is asked to name “how many more millions” will be needed for the next NBA YoungBoy tour. As fans are well aware, NBA YoungBoy kicked off a Live Nation-produced headlining tour back in September. Dubbed the Make America Slime Again tour, the months-spanning run is set to continue this week with stops in Atlanta and Nashville.

“About three or four hundred, easy,” Birdman, who was previously claimed to have told Ak that he was out on the road with NBA YoungBoy to “make sure that he don’t fuck up the money,” said in the video.

Asked to clarify, Birdman repeated the figure.

“Three to four hundred million, easy,” he said, as seen below. “If you ain’t talking that, don’t even come. And look, in two years, a billion dollars.”

Birdman and NBA YoungBoy have several collaborations to their name, including 2018’s Until Death Call My Name track “We Poppin” and the 2021 full-length joint project From the Bayou. Live footage of “100 Rounds,” a track off the latter project, has circulated on social media in recent days as NBA YoungBoy’s tour continues.

The MASA tour will keep NBA YoungBoy on the road through the middle of November, with a show at Seattle’s Climate Pledge Arena currently listed as the final stop. Complex’s Jordan Rose recently caught up with the Baton Rouge-born artist backstage at a sold-out Brooklyn show, resulting in the following walk-and-talk conversation:
