50 Cent is speaking out amid Nicki Minaj and Cardi B’s much-discussed feud, telling fans he hopes “the girls stop fighting before things escalate.”

In 50’s eyes, the beef in question “is not gonna end well” given the nature of what’s been said so far. As previously reported, the two artists have been publicly exchanging heated words in recent days, ultimately leading to Nicki being declared “Donkey of the Day” on The Breakfast Club.

“I hope the girls stop fighting before things escalate,” 50, rarely one to miss a shot at offering social media-delivered commentary, wrote in an Instagram update on Thursday, Oct. 2. “I read some of the shit they are saying to each other and this is not gonna end well.”

50 isn’t the first artist to share a critical take on the feud. Wednesday, Waka Flocka Flame called the beef “corny” and urged Nicki and Cardi to “dead that shit.”

Charlamagne tha God has also been critical of Nicki’s stance in the feud, arguing that “unhealed trauma” is the root of the issue.

“How do you go from inspiring a generation of young women to hating on a generation of young women?” Charlamagne said on Thursday’s Breakfast Club when detailing his latest “Donkey of the Day” pick. “Well, that’s what happens when a person is in pain. That’s what happens when a person is hurting. That’s what happens when a person has a bunch of unhealed trauma that they haven’t dealt with.”

For Cardi, the explosive Nicki feud comes in the wake of the arrival of Am I the Drama?, her long-awaited follow-up to the Best Rap Album-winning Invasion of Privacy. As of the latest Billboard 200 update, the Selena Gomez-featuring project is currently the No. 1 album in the U.S.

At one point in the earlier days of the X-focused feud, Cardi argued that Nicki’s feelings were “hurt ‘cause I ain’t paid her no attention,” including on her new album.

Meanwhile, Nicki, whose most recent studio album is 2023’s Pink Friday sequel, has been teasing a new album for March of next year. A title for the project hasn't been announced.
