Snoop Dogg stole the show when he crashed the Zac Brown Band’s set in Hollywood on Monday, July 21.
In a video obtained by TMZ, the rapper is seen sauntering onto the stage with a blunt in hand, ready to perform alongside the band.
Zac Brown Band was performing at Desert 5 Spot in Hollywood last night to prepare for their upcoming Love & Fear album when Snoop crashed the party.
The Grammy-winning band played several fan favorites, including their hit song “Chicken Fried,” before setting up the concertgoers for a little surprise.
As they told the fans to back up a few feet so that they could film the next song for a music video, Snoop came walking through the door, sunglasses on, a blunt in one hand and a microphone in the other.
He then rapped a few bars while fans cheered in the background. Snoop clapped to the beat and puffed his blunt, vibing alongside ZBB as they launched into the song.
That track, “Let It Run,” reflects both Snoop and ZBB’s shared love for bluegrass and smoking weed. According to TMZ, a table was sectioned off with beer and joints for the taking, and fans were reportedly eager to meet Snoop—who had been laying low backstage.
An up close video shows Snoop holding a golden mic as Zac Brown sings, “If it’s burning kind of funny, we can roll another one.”
Zac Brown Band is known for their catchy songs and comedic lyrics, and this song is just another one to add onto their list. The song goes over smoking etiquette and not worrying because there’s “more where that came from,” playing into the carefree spirit of both Snoop and ZBB.
Zac Brown Band originally announced the new single via an Instagram announcement on Friday, July 18.
