Months before 15-year-old runaway Celeste Rivas Hernandez was discovered dismembered in the trunk of his Tesla, D4vd released a chilling video that depicted him dragging a bloodied body before stuffing it in the back of a car.

The video, for his single “One More Dance,” has now surpassed 3.9 million YouTube views as fans resurface it online, pointing out its disturbing resemblance to the real-life case. In the clip, D4vd appears covered in blood while moving what appears to be his own body toward the vehicle.

The imagery has drawn renewed attention as Los Angeles police investigate how Hernandez’s remains ended up in the artist’s Tesla earlier this month. Her body was discovered on September 8, just a day after her 15th birthday, when the car was towed from the Hollywood Hills.

D4vd has not been arrested or charged, but canceled the remainder of his U.S. and European tour dates last week as the probe intensifies. LAPD officers raided a Hollywood Hills home where he had been staying and seized “several items of evidence,” though they have not named him a suspect.

Meanwhile, the singer’s streaming numbers have skyrocketed. “Romantic Homicide,” his biggest hit, reached No. 8 on Spotify’s daily chart Monday, its highest peak since blowing up on TikTok in 2022, while tracks like “Feel It” and “Here With Me” have also seen major gains.

Questions about D4vd’s connection to the victim continue to mount. Screenshots from his Discord fan server suggest he was rumored to be dating a teen named Celeste years earlier. He also recorded an unreleased track mentioning the name twice, and photos show him with a girl resembling Hernandez.

Her mother later told TMZ her daughter had been dating someone named “David.” Hernandez had first been reported missing at 13. The singer’s representatives maintain that he is fully cooperating with the authorities.
