Bruno Mars has officially made music history.

According to the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), Mars' breakout hit "Just the Way You Are" has been certified 21-times Platinum, making it the highest-certified single of all time. The milestone pushes the song past the previous record-holder, Post Malone and Swae Lee's "Sunflower," and solidifies Mars' status as one of the most commercially successful artists of the digital era.

Released in 2010 as the lead single from his debut studio album Doo-Wops & Hooligans, "Just the Way You Are" became a global phenomenon. It topped the charts in 10 countries and was named the best-selling digital single of 2011, moving more than 12.5 million copies worldwide. The song continues to dominate streaming platforms, approaching 3 billion Spotify streams.

"Just the Way You Are" earned Mars a Grammy Award for Best Male Pop Vocal Performance and launched what would become one of the biggest pop careers in history.

The new achievement comes as Mars wraps up another successful run in Las Vegas. Fans still have a chance to hear the record-breaking song live during his Dolby Live residency at MGM Park, with two final shows left this year on December 30 and 31.
