Benny Blanco showcased a sweet surprise he hosted for his fiancée, Selena Gomez, by throwing her the prom she never had.
In a video shared on Instagram, Blanco revealed that he recently learned that Gomez never got to attend prom when she was in high school. He shared this fact about her during his appearance on The Jennifer Hudson Show earlier this month, and now he's shared a look at the cute and cheesy prom photos they took together.
"My fiancée has never been to prom before," he said in the video, which can be seen below. "So I asked her if we should take prom photos together at a mall. And she said yes! I even rented a limo for us!" The video showed them going to a photo studio in a nearby mall and ends with the full photo shoot.
Blanco hosted a prom-themed birthday party last month after learning she had never attended prom. "Selena had never been to a prom before, so I thought I’d throw us a prom for my birthday," he told Hudson earlier this month. "Honestly, my favorite prom was with my partner."
Earlier this year, Blanco shared that Gomez's mom and former manager, Mandy Teefey, introduced them years ago.
