"Many people remember Charlie for his faith," said one true-or-false question.

A video showing an elementary schooler’s alleged homework assignment about the “life and legacy” of Charlie Kirk is going viral after the student’s dad shared the clip on TikTok.

First reported by BuzzFeed, the video posted by @neeltheillest has reached more than 6.1 million views on TikTok at the time of writing. Many commenters said they found it “inappropriate” and that they wouldn’t allow their own children to complete the assignment.

“This is your homework?” a person says, and the fifth grader recalls that the teacher was “sad” while handing it out.

The worksheets in the homework packet included instructions to write a summary of Kirk’s “life and legacy” and a question about how the Turning Point USA founder's Christian faith “influenced his life and decisions.”

There was also a true/false quiz with questions about what year Kirk was born, when he was married, and whether “he passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family.”

"Many people remember Charlie for his faith, his dedication to helping young people, and his belief that one person can make a difference,” another true/false question states.

The death of Kirk, who was shot and killed at Utah Valley University last month, led to explosive political debate. Many on the right have hailed the conservative podcaster as a hero—while leaving little room for criticism of his hate speech and views on topics like race and gun violence.
