Turning Point USA, the nonprofit organization co-founded by the late Charlie Kirk and now led by his widow Erika Kirk, has announced its own alternative to Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl Halftime Show, “The All American Halftime Show.”
The event, which is said to be a celebration of “faith, family, and freedom,” will also be on February 8, 2026 — the same date Super Bowl LX plays at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California.
While performers for the show haven’t been revealed yet, the event’s signup sheet allows users to vote on what music genres they’d like to see featured on the show. The options include “Anything in English,” in addition to Americana, classic rock, country, hip hop, pop, and worship.
The alternative show seems to be in direct opposition to Bad Bunny being selected to play the Super Bowl Halftime show. Since the announcement, the Puerto Rican superstar’s conservative critics have been up in arms over his Spanish-language songs and his previous comments about ICE.
Bad Bunny addressed the backlash on last week’s episode of Saturday Night Live during his opening monologue, where he fired off a brief message for his supporters in Spanish before saying, “If you didn’t understand what I just said, you have four months to learn.”
