Logan Paul won’t outright call what’s going on between him and Kai Cenat “beef,” but he made it clear in a recent Impaulsive episode that he wasn’t particularly fond of the streaming star’s presence at the 2025 Royal Rumble.
“I love Kai,” Paul said around 52 minutes into the video below when asked outright whether there was some sort of “beef” between the two. “He invited me on his stream before the match. I was like, this is sick.” During the stream in question, as Paul recalled, Cenat told him point blank that he wouldn’t be cheering him on during the event.
“After I got eliminated, bro, I don’t hear any voices. … The voices all sound the same, except Kai Cenat,” Paul said of his Royal Rumble experience. “I hear his fucking ‘Yo, chat! Yo, chat!’ Whatever. I hear it and I’m like, is this fucking Kai? Sure enough, I look up and there’s Kai Cenat. He’s chirping at me.”
This didn’t go over well with Paul, ultimately seen shouting at Cenat in a widely shared clip from the evening.
“I’m like, bro, I don’t need this energy,” Paul said, admitting that he “basically blamed the entire loss on him,” at which point he and Cenat “just started going at it.”
Paul claims he considered dragging Cenat “over the barricade,” adding that it’s still not clear to him why, exactly, he was eliminated. Either way, it seems as though Paul hearing Cenat at this precise moment was enough to send him over the edge.
“The last thing I need is fucking Kai Cenat chirping at me in this highly, highly embarrassing moment,” he said.
This led to his co-hosts theorizing about the potential for a full-fledged match between Cenat and Paul, with the latter offering a simple “the stage is set” in response. Paul, however, does not believe that Cenat has a chance against him. Building on this, Paul’s co-hosts then proposed a hypothetical match in which IShowSpeed and Cenat would face off against him.
“That goes crazy,” Paul said with a laugh.
This past Sunday, Kai brought his stream to the 2025 Grammys, where he met the Carters and publicly called for Playboi Carti's long-teased new album to be released.
