LeBron James was quick to celebrate the Lakers’ buzzer-beater victory over the Pacers Wednesday night, notably at the expense of Stephen A. Smith. As has been made clear in recent weeks, the two are very much at odds, with Smith, as previously reported, calling LeBron a “liar” and saying he “would have immediately swung on him” if their much-discussed confrontation had gotten to that point. Smith, to be fair, also suggested he would have lost this hypothetical scuffle, noting that he was never truly concerned their differences would lead to such a thing.

Still, LeBron took to Instagram after securing a thrilling 120-119 Lakers win over the Pacers, sharing a two-slide update that included footage of Smith boxing and an oft-used reaction meme featuring Key Glock and the late Young Dolph.

“WHOMP WHOMP WHOMPPPPPPPP,” LeBron captioned the update, which was rife with a slew of laughing emoji. To further the mockery, LeBron also shared the post to his Stories, like so:

For now, Smith hasn't addressed LeBron's post-victory mockery. For added celebration, meanwhile, LeBron also reshared a post from teammate Luka Dončić, who was recently named in a key Kendrick Lamar line on Playboi Carti's MUSIC album.

After Wednesday night's victory, LeBron talked with reporters about the current dynamic among Lakers players, saying “in order for us to win, we gotta defend.” See more below via ESPN’s Dave McMenamin.

Next, the Lakers will face the Bulls in Chicago, followed by another away game against the Grizzlies this weekend.
