WWE star Logan Paul learned quickly not to mess with singer Jelly Roll.
Paul, 30, was taken down in a chokeslam by Jelly, 40, after some harsh words were directed at the singer.
The musician was brought on as the guest host of the late-night show, Jimmy Kimmel Live, while host Kimmel is on his yearly summer vacation. He interviewed Randy Orton, his tag team partner for the upcoming “SummerSlam” happening in New Jersey next month. There, he and Orton, 45, will face off against Drew McIntyre and Paul.
While Jelly was interviewing Orton, McIntyre, 40, decided to crash the show and share some trash talk of his own. When McIntyre directed his insults toward Jelly, Orton stepped up and fought back — ending up in a scramble backstage.
In the video, Jelly attempts to get the cameras to cut to commercial break, but instead, out walks Paul. The crowd erupts into "boos" at the sight of Paul as he begins throwing out a slew of trash talk.
As the WWE superstar gets right up into Jelly’s face, he calls him a “greasy, redneck prison rat,” and smacks him across the face.
The crowd continues to boo as Jelly is seen holding his face, bent over. This is when the “Son of a Sinner” singer stands up and pulls off an Undertaker-style chokeslam on Paul, breaking the desk below him in the process.
Jelly recently appeared on The Pat McAfee Show and shared that he’s been working on himself and preparing for the “SummerSlam” by training over the last four years at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando.
SummerSlam will take place at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey for two days starting Saturday, August 2. Soon we'll see if all the hard work Jelly has been putting in has paid off.
