Nas said he's not interested in performing at the Super Bowl Halftime Show.

During a recent sit-down with Complex, the legendary rapper was asked if he would ever grace the Super Bowl Halftime Show stage and while he called it "super rockstar shit," he insisted that he prefers to leave it to others.

"Nah, I don't want to do ... I can't say I don't want to do the Super Bowl, but I don't," Nas said. "Why would I do that? Leave it to the professionals. Leave it to the pros. I'm a pro at what I do.

"I want to watch dope halftime shows and that's what has been happening lately so salute to all of them," he added.

The 52-year-old New York native has built a career as one of hip-hop's most respected lyricists and storytellers, emphasizing artistry over spectacle. While the Super Bowl Halftime Show is widely regarded as one of the biggest stages in music, Nas explained that performing there isn't aligned with his priorities.

In recent years, fans have seen stars like Rihanna, Travis Scott, and Shakira delivered visually striking and culturally impactful halftime shows, which Nas appears content to enjoy from the audience.

Bad Bunny is set to headline the Super Bowl LX Halftime Show on Feb. 8, 2026, at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California. This marks a significant milestone as the Puerto Rican singer and rapper will be the first primarily Spanish-language artist to headline the Super Bowl Halftime Show as a solo act. He previously performed at Super Bowl LIV in 2020 alongside Shakira and Jennifer Lopez.
