Luka Dončić was so angry about the trade between the Dallas Mavericks and Los Angeles Lakers that he cracked his phone in anger.

In an interview with ESPN's Malika Andrews, Dončić admitted he had thrown his phone when he found out the Mavs front office had shipped him away to the City of Angels for Anthony Davis. According to Dončić, he was lying in bed watching a movie when he got the news and initially thought it was an April Fool's Joke, much like the rest of the NBA world.

However, once he knew the news was actually real, Dončić grew upset and took it out on his phone, which cracked after he threw it. Dončić's manager, Lara Beth Seager, brought the phone out during the interview to show Andrews.

Yes," said Dončić when Andrews asked if he really threw his phone while also explaining the device still works. "I was still in shock, like crazy shock, and I felt like my heart was broken, honestly."

Dončić also revealed that loyalty is important to him while stating he hasn't spoken to Mavs general manager Nico Harrison since he joined L.A. The 26-year-old showed a lot of emotion in his return to Dallas earlier this month when the Lakers took on the Mavs at the American Airlines Center.

During team introductions, Dončić shed a few tears as the Mavs played a tribute video in his honor. Then, he went on to score 45 points on his old team and hit seven three-pointers.
