Jake Paul Buys $39M Georgia Ranch That’s Bigger Than Disneyland

Because a boxing ring just wasn’t big enough.

Disneyland might have fireworks and fairy tales, but it doesn't have 5,600 acres of hunting trails, lakes, and private racetracks. Jake Paul just spent $39 million on a Georgia sporting ranch so massive, it’s technically bigger than the Magic Kingdom — and then some.

On the Sunday, June 15 episode of The Iced Coffee Hour podcast, the 28-year-old YouTube personality said he used most of the $30 million he earned from his 2024 fight with Mike Tyson to buy the land.

“I’ve been wanting to buy a ranch for the past 15 years,” Paul said. “It’s kind of been like my dream and why I work so hard.”

The property — called Southlands Plantation — is located in Decatur County, Georgia, near Lake Seminole and just north of the Florida line. At 5,653 acres, it’s “one of the largest recreational land sales” in the state’s history, according to Jon Kohler, who co-listed the estate and spoke with Mansion Global.

For comparison, Disneyland in California spans just 500 acres. Even Disney World’s Magic Kingdom — the largest of its four Florida theme parks — covers about 107 acres. While Paul's ranch doesn’t rival the full 27,000-acre Disney World resort, it still outsizes its crown jewel more than 50 times over.

“Southlands is an institution,” Kohler explained. “It’s like owning your own professional football team. You get history, culture and traditions, and you’re a land steward dictating its future.”

Originally assembled in the 1920s by conservationist Herbert Stoddard, Southlands has passed through the hands of senators, corporations, and land investors before landing in Paul’s portfolio. The main lodge includes eight bedrooms, five and a half bathrooms, and sweeping views of Lake Seminole.

And buying a ranch isn’t the only big-ticket move Paul has made this year.

In March, the 28-year-old proposed to Olympic speed skater Jutta Leerdam with a custom ring from Gabriel & Co., featuring a ten-carat oval-cut natural diamond flanked by two smaller stones. According to the jeweler, the three-stone ring is valued at approximately $1 million.

The couple went public with their relationship in April 2023, shortly after connecting on Instagram.
