Things got heated between IShowSpeed and Ashton Hall after the two raced against each other—and IShowSpeed came out ahead four times in a row.
During a live stream on Wednesday, the Twitch star and the fitness influencer went head-to-head for an informal race. One clip shows Speed racing ahead while Hall tumbles to the ground.
Hall, who's known for his viral morning routine video that showed him waking up at 4 a.m. to do things like dunk his face in ice water and run sprints, seemed to become increasingly aggravated during each round of the race.
Speed, meanwhile, had had enough after three races and started to head out, only to be confronted by Hall.
"Why are you leaving?" Hall asked him. "Because I beat you three times," Speed said, later calling the influencer "Ashton Fraud."
After a fourth and final race where Speed still won, Hall finally admitted that he was beat "fair and square."
"I got caught in the sauce," he admitted.
The two decided to settle the score earlier on Wednesday following a tense exchange on Speed’s stream where he accused Ashton of trying to avoid him.
“This is not going to be a good look for you, brother,” Hall responded, to which the streamer fired back, “I promise you, I’mma smoke your shit.”
A visibly angry Speed guaranteed a victory over Hall in their race, repeatedly stating, “I’ve been doing this shit.”
Speed has shown in the past that he will take on anyone and everyone—even the fastest man on Earth. The streamer was narrowly defeated by Noah Lyles in November after they were able to coordinate an impromptu race with the help of MrBeast, who put $100,000 on the 2024 Olympic men’s 100m gold medalist.
Speed shared at ComplexCon last year that he plans on competing in the 2028 Summer Olympics and does not want to limit himself to just one competition, saying he’s open to participating in “100m and 50m, and maybe 20m.”
When asked at ComplexCon about his race against Lyles, Speed maintained their race ended in a tie. Looking back, the 20-year-old is convinced he “could have beat Noah,” pointing out several factors that contributed to the outcome.
“Noah was doing… he had 30 minutes to exercise and warm up, and he had his own spikes, and he had his own gear,” he said. “Like, he had the right gear and I drove three hours.”
Speed also mentioned dealing with “tight cramps” after the long drive.
Despite everything he had to deal with, Speed almost came away victorious because, as Hall found out four times today, his “name is Speed for a reason.”
