Nikola Jokic Spotted at Horse Racing Track in Serbia One Day After Winning Olympic Bronze Medal

Horse racing over everything in Joker's book.

Denver Nuggets star Nikola Jokic has already returned to Serbia after winning the bronze medal for his home country at the 2024 Olympics in Paris.

The three-time NBA MVP was spotted enjoying a nice, relaxing day at the track in his hometown of Sombor where his horse Brenno Laumar was ultimately victorious.

Jokic and his teammates received a hero’s welcome for bringing home a medal for the first time since the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, according to NBA.com. That team was awarded the silver following their 96-66 loss to the United States in the gold medal game. A visibly happy Jokic was serenaded with “MVP” chants as he acknowledged the large group of supporters in attendance.

Many have noticed that Jokic has appeared more enthusiastic about receiving a bronze medal for Serbia than winning a championship with the Nuggets last year.

Shortly after winning his first NBA title, Jokic hilariously summed up his feelings at that moment, saying, “The job is done, we can go home now.” The six-time NBA All-Star was later asked during a press conference about attending a victory parade in the coming days and he was frustrated that he could not go back to Serbia immediately.

What can you say, Jokic loves horse racing more than his job, which just so happens to be playing in the NBA.
