A Wisconsin woman named Shannon Kobylarczyk is accused of being the Milwaukee Brewers fan roasted as an alleged "Brewers Karen" in a viral video.
The video showed a woman telling a Los Angeles Dodgers' fan, Ricardo Fosado, that she was going to "Call ICE" on him.
According to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, the woman in the viral video "is Shannon Kobylarczyk and her employer" is "Manpower Group, a Milwaukee-based staffing company." Or, more specifically, her employer was Manpower Group.
The video went viral on Instagram.
According to Fox 6, Fosado was ejected from the game "after admitting he swore at the Brewers fan."
The Wisconsin Bar Association database confirms that Shannon Kobylarczyk was an attorney with Manpower. She was admitted to the bar in 2010 and was in good standing.
The Journal Sentinel reported that, according to Manpower, Kobylarczyk is now "no longer with the organization." She resigned from the board of directors at Make-A-Wish Wisconsin as well, the newspaper reported.
"Why is everybody quiet? Why is everybody quiet?" the man says in the video loudly.
The video shows the woman saying, "Real men drink beer, p****." He responded, "Why is everyone so quiet? What is this? I'm sorry." He shows a drink in his hand.
She then said, "Ya know what, let's call ICE," and he retorted, "Call ICE, call them," he said. "I'm a U.S. citizen, a veteran, baby girl. Veteran, two wars. ICE is not going to do nothing to me. Good luck."
He then laughed and repeated, "Good luck."
"Call ICE, call them. F****** idiot," he added.
She then took a swipe toward him, the video shows.
WISN-TV reported that Kobylarczyk worked as "an attorney at Milwaukee-based staffing firm Manpower." The company stated to WISN, "As soon as we became aware of this video, the individual was placed on immediate leave, and we began an investigation. As a result of this process, the employee is no longer with the organization."
Kobylarczyk has not yet made public comment. Her LinkedIn page appears to be deleted. She declined comment to WISN.
"Her heart is where it's at, you know. I can't do anything about it, nothing that I say that would change her thoughts about me," Fosado alleged to WISN.
The Brewers released a statement to WISN that said both fans won't be welcome to return to games.
"The Brewers expect all persons attending games to be respectful of each other, and we do not condone in any way offensive statements fans make to each other about race, gender, or national origin. Our priority is to ensure that all in attendance have a safe and enjoyable experience at the ballpark," the statement says.
"In this instance, the Milwaukee Police Department dealt with the individual who was ejected for actions apart from the events depicted in this video, including disorderly conduct and public intoxication," the Brewers wrote.
"Separately, video shows that the other individual involved in the argument became physical in the course of her interactions with the person who was ejected," it says.
"For these reasons and in accordance with our Guest Code of Conduct specific to ejections and physical confrontations, both fans are being notified that they are not allowed to return to the ballpark for future events," the statement continued.
