Is professional golfer Bryson DeChambeau dating former college golfer and influencer Lilia Schneider? DeChambeau has kept his relationship history private, but speculation followed him to the Ryder Cup.
According to Sports Illustrated, DeChambeau turned up at the event alone, despite the rumors he’s dating Schneider. What made it stand out is that most of his teammates were joined by their partners. “Every Team USA member was with their WAG except DeChambeau and Xander Schauffele,” SI wrote, adding that the two pro golfers linked arms as a joke in a players’ “couples” photo. (Schauffele’s wife had just given birth, which is likely why she stayed home.)
Schneider is a former Marian College golfer with a growing following on her Instagram page, which is filled with glamour shots. She has not posted any photos of DeChambeau. However, she did post a photo showing her at a LIV golf event in August. She follows DeChambeau on Instagram, and she has been rumored to be dating DeChambeau, according to SI, but that's never been proven. That hasn't stopped her photos from going viral when DeChambeau plays, according to The Spun.
"This and that," she wrote with the golf course photo, which showed her walking on a golf course in a black dress.
DeChambeau did have one publicly confirmed girlfriend named Hunter Nugent. In fact, the rumors about Schneider stem from a comment Nugent made, according to Outkick.
"Bryson and I aren't dating anymore," Nugent responded to the outlet after a photo went viral that people misidentified as Nugent riding on a golf cart with DeChambeau. It was actually Schneider on the golf cart, Outkick reported.
However, that story came in 2022, and it's not clear whether Schneider is DeChambeau's girlfriend now or, frankly, whether she ever was.
Furthermore, DeChambeau said earlier this year that he was not dating anyone at the moment, adding, "It's weird because I've started, I don't know how to say this, it's very dynamic, let's say that as of right now. And I'm just trying to keep it simple and this time goes on I eventually want to find the right person."
