Giannis Antetokounmpo has offered iShowSpeed the rare opportunity to meet Michael Jordan — as long as he promises not to bark.
The streamer was joined by the Milwaukee Bucks power forward in Greece on Thursday (July 10) during his European vacation. While the two dined, around the 56-minute mark of the video below, Antetokoumpo said that Jordan was coming to visit him the next day, which caught Speed by surprise.
"I want to meet Jordan one day," Speed said while his mouth was full.
"When do you leave?" the NBA player asked, although Speed couldn't "disclose" the date. "If you're here tomorrow, come with me," he told the streamer.
The basketball player added that the occasion was "set by Nike" but warned Speed not to be in a frenzy over Jordan. "Don't come to Jordan and barking and shit," Antetokounmpo continued. "Don't come to MJ and start barking. He gonna choke you. He's gonna choke your ass."
After swearing that he wouldn't bark, Speed said he'll have to "reorganize" his trip for the chance to meet Jordan. Antetokounmpo called the former Chicago Bulls player "very lowkey," and personally called a Nike representative to arrange the meeting.
While the rep said she'd have to "run that by the boss," Speed guessed that the reply meant a "no." "I've been on all types of calls before, bro. I know what the fuck that means," he said.
But Antetokounmpo didn't give up, encouraging Speed to "sneak in." The conversation continued with Speed comparing Jordan to soccer players Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi, both of whom he's met.
Last month, Giannis said he was planning for "the greatest offseason of all time" and called on Speed, as well as Kai Cenat, to help him get into streaming. "Man, help a brother out," he said during a TikTok stream.
