Cardi B will be be Stefon Diggs' biggest cheerleader when she begins attending his football games.
The New England Patriots wide receiver, who Cardi began dating earlier this year, was brought up during the rapper's visit on TODAY With Jenna & Friends on Tuesday (September 16). Along with announcing her 2026 Little Miss Drama Tour, Cardi gushed that she felt "Fourth of July" sparks with her new boyfriend.
"I thought he was cute," Cardi said about meeting the NFL player. "I was like, 'Oh, he's gotta be mine.'"
The "Bodega Baddie" artist explained that she and Diggs met through "mutual friends" and said that she's now a football fan.
"I be in the screen on Sunday every day cursing people out," she joked. "'Pass the ball!'"
Cardi also confirmed that Diggs will be playing this season despite sustaining an ACL injury earlier in the year. On plans for watching him on the field, Cardi said, "Not yet because I've been preparing for my album," adding tht "after this whole album thing, I'm going to every single game," she added.
On her three children with her estranged husband, Offset, Cardi explained that she and her kids are a package deal.
"Everyone knows how devoted I am as a mother, so they just know that this is what I come with, I come with luggage, a baggage, a book bag, a purse," she joked. "I come with everything."
Cardi also said that she would marry again. "I believe in love. I'm like a hopeless romantic," she said.
Along with showing an openness towards a second marriage, Cardi revealed on The Jennifer Hudson Show this week that she wants more children, possibly with Diggs.
