Nikki Mudarris claims LiAngelo Ball broke up with her over text, and got a woman pregnant shortly after she gave birth to their second child.
Mudarris sat down with Jason Lee, who asked her to share details on exactly how Gelo left her earlier this year. The mother of two explained that he was in New York for a label meeting and she hadn’t heard from him.
“He didn’t text me for like three days,” the former reality TV star said. “We didn’t talk and I’m like FaceTiming him to see the kids, he didn’t answer.”
When Lee asked if that was “normal,” she said, “No.”
“He always answers and he always checks on them,” Mudarris continued. “He ended up texting me, and he’s like, ‘We need to talk when I come home. It’s really bad.’ And I’m like, ‘What?’ And I said, ‘Just tell me,’ ‘cause he wasn’t coming home for two more days. I’m nosey, I need to know what’s going on. And I’m like, ‘Just say it.’ I was like, ‘What? You got someone pregnant?’ And he says, ‘Yeah, we need to co-parent. I got someone pregnant.’”
Lee asked if the conversation happened via text message, to she said yes, adding that she and Gelo’s second child together, LaNiyah Nicole Ball, was “only four weeks old at the time.” The former couple also shares LaVelo Anthony Ball, who is soon turning two-years-old.
Mudarris first accused Gelo of getting another woman pregnant and leaving his family in February. "We spent 3 1/2 years together, and last week he decided to walk out on his kids and tell me he got someone else pregnant," Mudarris wrote on socials at the time.
The new woman in question is Rashida Nicole, though it appears she and Ball are on the outs as well. Last week, news surfaced that the 25-year-old former basketball player and current rapper filed for divorce from Nicole days after she publicly announced they were expecting a child together.
It’s unclear when the pair tied the knot, though all signs point to February when they were spotted leaving a courthouse together and dressed in matching all-white outfits.
