WNBA player Lexie Hull is trying her best to look on the bright side of things after a nasty in-game collision left her with two black eyes.

Hull was injured Tuesday, August 26 in a game between her Indiana Fever and the Seattle Storm when she and Gabby Williams collided under the basket while going for a loose ball.

Both athletes hit the floor after knocking heads and were in obvious pain. While Hull and Williams left the game following the incident, both would later return to finish it out.

Just hours after the game, Hull replied to a comment from a fan asking "How's the knot?" with a funny video on TikTok. The clip starts with Hull wearing a pair of sunglasses and saying, "So, it's really funny you should ask that, because it's not doing great."

Hull then pulls the glasses back to reveal two gnarly black-and-blue eyes. She goes on to say, "I wish this was a filter, um, but this is insane, this is what I look like. Ya, I've worn these glasses all day but the knot is like gone, I'm still a little sore in here. But the knot is gone, instead I just have two black eyes."

The knot Hull is referring to was a large bump on her forehead that was visible moments after the collision with Williams.

Hull finishes her Tiktok by saying, "Ya this is me and hopefully this goes down but, um, ya thank you for asking."

The Indiana Fever are set to play their next game Friday, August 29, when they travel to Los Angeles to take on the Sparks. Unclear if Hull will suit up, but if her TikTok is any indication, she's at least got a good sense of humor about the whole thing.
