NFL teams considering future stadium revamps may want to enlist the help of AI, as incredible new concept images generated by the technology are going viral.
The trend took off on TikTok and X this week as users asked AI to redesign some of the home fields for the most notable franchises across the NFL using team names.
The technology reimagined stadiums for teams like the Baltimore Ravens, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Jacksonville Jaguars, Pittsburgh Steelers, Miami Dolphins, Kansas City Chiefs and the Buffalo Bills.
The Ravens' design features a gothic look with giant birds lining the upper section of the stands.
The Buccaneers' rebuild comes complete with a massive pirate ship and working cannons, while the Jaguars' design features a jungle theme and waterfalls.
True to their names, the Steelers' AI build includes a working steel mill, while the Indianapolis Colts' redesign resembles a rodeo arena. The Miami Dolphins design is made to look like fans and players are watching the game from inside an aquarium.
Fans were on board, with many praising the AI redesigns in the comments.
One user joked, "imagine all that was real just for someones favorite team to lose." While another said, "As a non-football fan, if the stadiums actually looked this cool, I'd go just to enjoy the atmosphere."
As for the real deal—the Buffalo Bills are soon to get a new stadium, set to open up in 2026 with 60,000 seats and maintaining an open-air design. The Cleveland Browns have also revealed plans for a new stadium set to open in 2029, while the Tennessee Titans are projected to open theirs in 2027.
The Kansas City Chiefs and Chicago Bears are also in the planning stages of building new stadiums, though construction has not started on either project.
