On a weekend dedicated to celebrating the top players in the NBA, Adidas has unveiled Cleveland Cavaliers guard Donovan Mitchell's 7th signature shoe at All-Star Weekend in San Francisco.
The first Adidas D.O.N. Issue #7 colorway, which the brand previewed this past weekend, features a gradient color scheme on the low-cut upper and a zipper design at the midfoot, instead of the traditional lacing system. Adidas also confirmed that the D.O.N. Issue #7 is the first basketball shoe to use full-length Lightstrike Pro cushioning in the midsole, aimed at providing peak responsiveness. At the same time, the carbon fiber shank plate offers enhanced stability.

UPDATE (07/08): After unveiling the sneaker at this year's NBA All-Star Weekend in February, Adidas has now confirmed that the D.O.N. Issue #7 will be released on July 12 in North America and globally on July 17. The sneaker will drop at Adidas.com and at Adidas retailers for $120.
